Floor refinishing
VCT Strip and Wax in Southlake
Dull, scuffed tile taken to bare and rebuilt. Sealed, recoated and burnished while the building is closed.
When the Finish Is the Problem
Vinyl composition tile is everywhere. Hallways, breakrooms, classrooms, retail aisles. The tile lasts. The finish does not. Each coat traps a bit of dirt. Traffic lanes dull. Edges yellow. Scuffs settle in. At some point mopping stops helping, because the dirt lives inside the finish.
Only a full strip and refinish solves that. Our sequence: Furniture moved. Edges protected. Stripper applied to break down every old layer. A floor machine scrubs it loose. A wet vacuum lifts it. The tile is rinsed and neutralized. Sealer goes down. Then finish, layered thin, with dry time between layers. Last comes the burnisher, spinning hot to set the top coat glassy and hard. Furniture goes back. The floor reopens. It all happens overnight or over a weekend. And because our own floor crew does the work, your nightly team can keep it burnished between strips.
